He also interned with Equifax and Red Ventures where he automated cybersecurity threat and financial reporting. Previously Jonathan has interned with Carolina’s Healthcare System (now Atrium Health), SAS Institute, and Mecklenburg County. These experiences nurtured his passion for deriving insights from data.
Outside of his research and professional experience, Jonathan benefits from a rich social experience. Jonathan is a first generation immigrant to the United States from Mexico who's American experience has been enriched by cultural immersion in predominantly White and predominantly Black public schools followed by a private college education. Jonathan is constantly looking to expand his cultural awareness through conversations with international peers and looks forward to visiting their home countries in the future.
